The Ibovespa index dipped below the 153,000 mark on Friday after previously setting a record high, as market participants analyzed recent earnings reports. Suzano saw a decline of 0.8%, posting a third-quarter 2025 net income of R$1.96 billion, reflecting a 39% decrease compared to the previous year, alongside an adjusted EBITDA of R$5.2 billion, marking a 20% reduction. Similarly, Energisa experienced a 1.9% drop following a third-quarter net income of R$648.4 million, which was down by 10.8%. Assaí also decreased by 1%, with its net income falling by 1.5% to R$195 million. Conversely, Petrobras edged up by 0.2%, reporting a third-quarter net income of US$6.02 billion, up by 2.7%, and revenue reaching US$23.5 billion. Alpargatas made a notable gain of 8% with a third-quarter net income amounting to R$171.3 million, an increase of 199%, and an 87% rise in EBITDA. In addition, Brazil's trade surplus for October increased significantly by 70% from the previous year, reaching US$6.96 billion.
